In 1997, after a merger between Autodesk and Macromedia (which included the Flash software development toolkit), Autodesk released AutoCAD LT as a new product for Apple’s Macintosh line of computers. The first version of AutoCAD LT supported only the Macintosh and Windows operating systems.
AutoCAD 2007 and AutoCAD LT 2007 brought support for mobile devices, as well as the ability to connect to the Internet and obtain product updates and help through the use of the AutoCAD Web Access (AWeb) software component.
The newest versions of AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT have been the most successful versions of the program. AutoCAD LT 2011 is the latest release.

History
AutoCAD was first released by Micro Design Products (MDP) in 1982, named Cad-Dynamics. The first version of Cad-Dynamics included a drawing area and axis, variable named constants, and a limited set of drawing tools. A model, or drawing space, was initially used to contain a set of drafting tools. In the model space, the CAD operator used a mouse or trackball to position a cursor over drafting tools and to activate them.
The first release of Cad-Dynamics was for the DEC PDP-11 computer running the MIPS operating system, and had a 32K-bit physical memory with 2K of RAM. The version of Cad-Dynamics was one of the first CAD programs to contain a set of products. The main drawing area consisted of a paper plotter, on which the operator could create a drawing. A set of tools, which could be activated with the mouse or trackball, could be used to create axes, axes titles, title blocks, and other objects. Two namespaces were supported, and the namespaces were used to indicate the position of the drawing. A model space was used to contain a set of drafting tools, and the model space was used to create a drawing.

Notable applications developed using ObjectARX include the AutoCAD Add-in to Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD Add-in for Microsoft Word, AutoCAD Add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint, AutoCAD XML to Word, AutoCAD XML to PowerPoint, AutoCAD XML to Excel and AutoCAD XML to PowerPoint.
In 2007, ObjectARX was deprecated by AutoCAD, and became a generic C++ class library.
NetASMX
NetASMX is a framework that enables the user to add their own functionality to the Autodesk Model Derivatives and Services Architecture (MDSCA) by incorporating COM technology, with the Autodesk.NET Framework.
NetASMX allows the design and implementation of.NET managed assemblies that contain additional, application-specific data and functionality.
AutoLISP
AutoLISP is an interpreted programming language that is used to create plugins for AutoCAD. It is a general purpose interpreted scripting language. A subset of AutoLISP can be used in VBA. AutoLISP was also the base of Autodesk Exchange Apps. Autodesk Exchange Apps is a platform for the development of custom Autodesk applications for AutoCAD and the other CAD applications.
Visual LISP
Visual LISP is a high-level, object-oriented extension to AutoLISP, which integrates basic visual user interface elements, such as dialog boxes, with the AutoLISP environment, such as variables, classes and functions. Visual LISP is the main language used to develop plug-ins. A Visual LISP plug-in is a class module that is a Visual LISP program that utilizes class and object methods. The Autodesk Exchange store is a place where Autodesk Exchange developers can sell and distribute their applications.
VBA
Visual Basic for Applications is an object-oriented programming language included in Microsoft Office. VBA enables developers to create custom-built applications, ranging from simple to very complex. It includes basic programming language constructs, such as variables, arrays, and subroutines. VBA can be integrated into other applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and can be used to automate tasks. It is the primary language used by AutoCAD plugin developers.

Steps of using the License Key
STEP 01
Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
STEP 02
Double click Autocad 2017 Full Version Serial Number to open the file.
STEP 03
Enter the License Key and Click on the “generate” button.
STEP 04
Copy the License Key and paste it to your Licensing server.
Do not forget to remove the license key from notepad in Step 3.

Just imagine that you bought a Licence from Autodesk for $99. Your licence allows you to use the software for one year. So one year from today, if you want to use Autodesk for another year, you have to go to Autodesk Licensing Servers (www.licensing.autodesk.com) and download another licence from there.
Or let’s say you want to use Autodesk for 5 years (so that you pay $199 instead of $99). For this you will have to download a licence from Licensing Servers and keep it for 5 years, then you can use Autodesk for another 5 years!
This is a pretty standard practice, if you have paid already then you can download the licence for another year or 5 years, you don’t have to buy the licence every time you use the software.
Two American brothers involved in a high-speed pursuit that led to a crash that killed two children and critically injured their mother in a San Francisco suburb were found guilty of four felony counts Tuesday, including manslaughter and reckless driving.
It is the first felony conviction for a California police officer in a fatal shooting.
Officer Sunil Dutta was accused of shooting and killing 19-year-old Mario Woods and wounding his 16-year-old brother, Antonio, in a shopping center parking lot in Pacifica on March 7, 2017.
Dutta and his partner responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at the shopping center, where Antonio and his girlfriend, Carlina White, had just gotten into a fight and his brother had a restraining order against him.
According to the criminal complaint, the woman’s 2-year-old daughter was crying in the back seat of the patrol car when Dutta approached with his weapon drawn.
Officers: Cop’s wife witnessed police shooting
Officer’s wife: My husband was nothing but a protector
Automatic and Manual Tracking:
Manual tracking allows you to track an object using the 3-D tracking tool or a Live Trace tool. AutoTrace can create a manual track by using an existing 2-D annotation. (video: 1:28 min.)
3-D View and 2-D View Snap Modes:
Drag the 3-D view to pan and rotate the model. Or drag to adjust the view in the 2-D view and drag the view to reposition the view. Also adjust the view by holding down the Ctrl key while dragging. (video: 1:37 min.)
Snap and Scale:
Place a drawing element over an existing element or snap an object to an existing reference point. Then, position the element or draw the object at a specific scale and offset. Use three different control to adjust scale, offset, and rotation. (video: 1:25 min.)
Non-Uniform Polygons:
Apply special constraints to non-uniform polygons so they fit into the drawing better. (video: 1:42 min.)
More Polygon Clipper Options:
Use the new Polygon Clipper to quickly create a new polygon, trim an existing polygon, or create a polygon ring (including arcs and rings). The new Polygon Clipper offers multiple options for creating polygon rings, including rings around points, lines, and arcs. There are new options for selecting a polygon, including selecting based on the polygon’s center and by using the selection areas on the drawing. (video: 1:25 min.)
Waterfall View:
Animate a common design element such as a flow line or spline to form a waterfall view. Then, change view or edit to show more information. (video: 1:20 min.)
Sketch View:
Edit a 2-D sketch view so you can see more detail and make edits without performing a full display. You can also re-arrange the sketch view area so it’s easier to see at a glance. (video: 1:32 min.)
New Curve View:
The new Curve View automatically adjusts to the width of the curve when you’re making edits to the curve. Plus, you can drag and reposition the curve in the drawing. (video: 1:24 min.)
